What we did
Ki‑Jana Delano Hoever (born 18 January 2002 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a versatile defender operating primarily as a right-back or centre-back for Wolverhampton Wanderers. A product of Ajax’s youth system, he joined Liverpool in 2018 and made his senior debut just before his 17th birthday. A series of loan spells followed at Stoke City, PSV Eindhoven, and others, before joining Wolves in September 2020. Across the 2024–25 Premier League campaign, Hoever featured regularly, anchoring Wolves’ defence with composed distribution and strong one-on-one defending. He has represented the Netherlands extensively at youth levels and continues to be monitored for senior selection. Technical in build-up, tactically adaptable, and defensively reliable, Hoever exemplifies the modern full-back. His professional trajectory and cross-league experience make him a strong inclusion in KPI’s athlete showcase.
