What we did

Oluwafemi Ibrahim Seriki (born 28 April 2002 in Manchester) is a 23-year-old right-back for Sheffield United, currently operating in the Championship. Standing at 1.83 m and known for his athleticism and forward-driving style, Seriki joined the Blades in July 2023, signing until 2027. A product of Bury’s academy, he made his Premier League debut in May 2021 and built experience through loans, including a stint at Rotherham United in 2024.

In the 2024–25 season, Seriki made 26 Championship appearances, logging 1,091 minutes and contributing one assist. He played a part in 13 clean sheets, with a goals-conceded rate of just 0.67 per 90, always reliable defensively. His per‑90 metrics include roughly 2.7 tackles, 3.4 clearances, and 1.7 aerial duels won, placing him in the upper percentiles for full-back performance.

Seriki’s playing style emphasizes carry-forward drives, solid passing accuracy, and resilience under pressure. His WhoScored average ratings hover around 7.0 and he consistently wins more duels than he loses. Off the ball, his positional sense and interception rate shine; on it, he is progressive and composed, a valuable asset in Sheffield United’s build-up play.
