What we did

Ethan Benjamin Laird (born 5 August 2001 in Basingstoke, England) is an attacking full-back currently playing for Birmingham City in the EFL Championship. A graduate of Manchester United’s academy, Laird made his first-team debut in a Europa League match in November 2019. He went on loan to Milton Keynes Dons, Swansea City, AFC Bournemouth helping Bournemouth achieve promotion to the Premier League and Queens Park Rangers before joining Birmingham City in July 2023. As of May 2025, he’s made over 60 Championship appearances and contributed four goals. Comfortable going forward, strong in wide defensive duels, and tactically disciplined, Laird’s progression reflects resilience and adaptability. Eligible for England’s youth teams and Jamaica at senior level, he carries dual-national potential. His balanced development and Championship experience align well with KPI’s performance standards.
