Hello, my name is Dan Hibbert. Sport and performance has been rooted in me for as long as I can remember, mainly through my time playing Hockey at a competitive level for 20 years. Throughout my time in education, I have always had a vast interest in sports performance, and always strive to learn more! Naturally, this led me to attend Liverpool John Moores University in 2013-2016, a world-leading industry for sports science studies. During those three years I was fortunate enough to complete substantial work experience at local sports teams that gave me real excitement to step into the world of sport.
Since leaving university, I have worked across a couple of different industries, whilst remaining engaged in competitive sport in playing and coaching formats. For the past year I have been working with King Performance Ideology assisting the sports performance coaching programme, alongside completing my personal training qualifications and further qualifications in nutrition and strength and conditioning.
Three things you should know about me:
- I have a university degree qualification in Sports Psychology
- Where there's competition, there's me.
- "This is Abba" my guilty gym-playlist pleasure!
